The holidays are a time for dining, dancing, and of course—dukes! Celebrate the Christmas season with this enchanting collection of historical romances featuring the most eligible bachelors of the ton…
A childish prank may have reunited the Duke of Hollingsworth with his estranged wife, but only the magic of Christmas will show this couple ’tis the season of second chances…
Sophie Kinsley planned to remain a wallflower at the Duke of Helmsworth’s ball. Yet when a dance with him leads to a stolen kiss, will the duke be willing to let her go? Or will Sophie’s Christmas wish be granted at last?
To the Duke of Vale, science solves everything—even marriage. When the impulsive Ivy Sutherland makes him question all of his data, he realizes that he’s overlooked a vital component in his search for the perfect match: love.
Patience Markham never forgot the fateful dance she had with the future Duke of Kingsbury. But when a twist of fate brings them together for Christmas Eve, will the stars finally align in their favor?

I’ve been lucky to read this book before all the readers out there. You are all going to gobble up the first in this amazing series. So let’s talk about the major theme, and Bay, because he’s totally hot.
How would you react if you woke up in the arms of your sister’s newest protector?
What would you do if you were a mistress by mistake? In Bay’s arms. No really, he’s delicious.
Remember, if you are on twitter, Monday’s is retweet Maggie’s Mistress Monday contest day! Just don’t forget to add the hastag for a chance to win a copy of her book–before it releases! You don’t want to miss this book.
[edited to add: No, Bay never sleeps with the heroine’s sister. That’s would be just ewwww]

I promised I’d share my cover art soon. And I’ve posted it all over the place on my loops, twitter, facebook.
So here she is.
I can’t tell you how much I’ve been in love with it since I first saw it. Even got all teary eyed.
So what does everyone think?

Okay, I’m on a crazy deadline right now, so I’m going to have to make this very short and sweet.
For those who didn’t hear me screaming it at every corner of the internet world, you can now preorder Surrender of a Lady from Amazon, B&N, and Indigo.
I bought five. Just because 🙂
I can’t wait for my cover to go up (I promise to share it soon).

And for the fellow Canadians, Indigo/Chapters Link
Anyone else got some exciting news?

With deadlines looming, edits threatening sanity, a day job sucking the life out of me every second of the day, I cannot bring myself to write a craft blog.
Don’t worry… I bring you hot men instead.
Outside of writing I have very few hobbies. I rarely watch TV, I don’t do excise (I have a severe allergy to that), I have two young kids that eat up copious amounts of time and I can say that most nights, after around the dinner hour, I’m not much good for anything except for watching paint dry.
But, every writer needs a bit of an outlet outside of writing. I read to my kids (they are totally going to hate that fact when I get to the REALLY sad part in Where the Red Fern Grows), I try to keep my house clean because I’m a total type A personality living with three type B’s, and I occasionally watch movies and TV. And I mean minimal TV watching because I have the attention span of a gnat (not sure if they even have an attention span, point taken) so I grow impatient and annoyed with TV shows very, VERY fast, so much so I grow agitated and feel the need to pace after a short while.
Here is where the hot men come in…
I’m addicted to Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I love the characters, the hotness, the m/m action (’cause I’m a total perv) and the story (there are a few threads of love stories) And best of all, it’s something to take my mind of writing, it’s full of eye candy, and it’s full of awesome. So, I’m sharing some pics I found online of the men that are currently making my world go round and round and round (I still totally love Purefoy, though, he’ll probably always be my number one).
What kind of non real life distractions make your world go round? Men like this keep me plenty distracted, maybe it’s all that testosterone, which is totally off the charts hot…

I’ve been totally holding out on our blog readers.
I have my back cover blurb for Jinan and Rothburn’s book! I totally heart it.
THE PRICE OF PASSION…
Sold. With one word, Lady Elena Ravenscliffe’s destiny changes forever. Forced into Constantinople’s slave market to pay off her late husband’s debts and save her son, Elena reinvents herself as Jinan—a harem girl adored by the rich lords who bid on her favors. But one man instantly sees through her façade.
…IS COMPLETE SURRENDER
Griffin Summerfield, Marquess of Rothburn, let Elena slip through his fingers years ago. When he recognizes her on the auction block, he pays an outrageous sum to possess her even if it is for a short period of time. But when his deadline looms, Griffin will risk all in a desperate bid to make her his—and his alone…
You can find it ALL here (because I did hold a bit back from you that you’ll find on my website): The Surrender of a Lady
Enjoy! I’m Glad to squee out loud! I’ll have a cover to share with you very soon. It’s still being tweaked, but I can tell you it’s BEAUTIFUL!

Hey everyone,
As promised, I’m doing a mid-week blog to ask all the challengers how they are making out on their goals.
I’m doing well. Of course, I’d like to do better! LOL
Sitting just under 41K. I’d like to hit 45K by Friday, then get close to 50K by Sunday night.
I will do another blog Saturday for everyone to give their progress report.
Happy writing…

Hello everyone!
As of last Tuesday’s blog… we’ve got a bit of a challenge/support group happening for wordage/pagedom 🙂
Post your word and page goals here. And come back often. I may even post a mid-week challenge page for you to tell us what you’ve accomplished. This isn’t just a one time wonder. That wouldn’t be much of a ‘challenge.’
Please note… everyone works at a different speed. So, it’s not about competing against each other, but more about accomplishing the goals we’ve set for ourselves!
Good luck everyone and anyone who would like to comment and join in a little bit of a challenge to their creativity!
My goal this weekend–to hit 40K. My current word count–33,299
And we are off…
Do us proud participants!
